9-12 Months Before : Book Photographer/Filmmaker
Congratulations on your engagement! As soon as you have a set date, contact us to check availability and tell us about your plans.
1-2 Months Before : Consultation
As your wedding approaches we’ll work with you to create a wedding day timeline. And when the details are finalized we’ll set up a meeting, in person or by phone/Skype, with Steven or Margaret. You can share your priorities and we’ll share advice about how to get the best from what we can do.

6-8 Weeks After : Photos Ready
Our photo editing process is intensive and one of the main reasons our images are of such a high standard. After narrowing down to a representative, high quality collection, we spend time on every single image to really make it shine. When we’re finished we’ll invite you to join us at our studio where we’ll present the finished collection to you. If a visit isn’t possible we will upload the collection to a private online gallery instead.
8-10 Weeks After : Album Draft Ready
If an album is included in your package we’ll create a draft album design for you, which is the starting point for a collaborative process leading to a beautiful wedding album.
4-6 Months After : Album and Films Delivery
After we have received your feedback and made any necessary edits, your album is printed, bound and shipped. At about the same time your edited and finished wedding films will be delivered.

How far do you travel for weddings?
Although we’re based in the Highlands we regularly attend weddings across the UK. We love to travel!
Do we need a second photographer?
If your wedding is fairly big or complex, a second photographer is a wise choice. Memorable events often happen simultaneously at different locations – a second photographer provides a parallel perspective and more comprehensive coverage. If you book a second photographer either Margaret and Steven will work together (depending upon availability) or we’ll draw upon a pool of a very few talented photographers who we know and trust.
Do you cover events other than weddings?
Yes we do! We have attended everything from birthdays to anniversaries to corporate retreats. And to each we bring our style and charm!
How many photos/footage do you take?
Lots! But it’s important you understand that we do not attempt blanket coverage, because that would seriously compromise the quality of the finished collections.
Instead our approach is interpretive and free-flowing. We’re seeking the significant moments and trying to catch people at their most natural. We capture much more than we intend to keep because, for us, it results in a much better product.
Finished photography collections usually include around 300 wonderful and very carefully edited images. And our films are beautifully crafted stories of 3-5 minutes, or 10-20 minutes, or both, depending on your choice of collection. Our film collections also include relatively uncut edits of the ceremony and speeches.
Can we make prints?
Yes you can. If your collection includes the digital files, or if you have purchased them separately, you can use them for any personal purposes you can think of.
What are your prices?
Our prices start at £1750. Disk, album and fusion packages are available for our photography collections. For more information please get in touch.
